AKC C.G.C & Therapy Programs
“The dog lives for the day, the hour, even the moment.”

AKC Canine Good Citizen
The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program is designed to help dogs develop the polite, everyday manners needed to become well-behaved companions at home and in the community. The program emphasizes responsible dog ownership while focusing on practical skills such as loose-leash walking, coming when called, controlled greetings, and remaining calm around people and other dogs.
Dogs that successfully complete the 10-skill CGC evaluation earn an official certificate through the American Kennel Club (AKC). We also offer testing for the Advanced Canine Good Citizen (CGCA) and Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU) titles for teams looking to continue building real-world skills and confidence.
CGC, CGCA, and CGCU testing is typically offered approximately every 6 weeks. Please contact the facility for upcoming testing dates and scheduling information.
